Credit Terms

Conley’s accepts credit terms for orders ($5,000 order minimum) upon a successful credit application process. To apply for credit terms, please contact us via telephone at (800) 377-8441 or email to request the credit application. Once we receive your application back, you can expect the process to be completed in as little as 2-3 days, depending on how quickly your bank and all three of your credit references respond to our credit inquiries. Credit limits are determined on a per-application basis.

Check Clearance

Please note that all orders paid with Personal Checks will not be approved for shipment (or picked up at will-call) until the payment has been received and has cleared. All returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.

Payment Security

Please be advised that orders that exceed (dollar amount) or contain a separate billing and shipping address are subject to require a signature upon delivery and/or verbal authorization from the authorized credit card holder.

Sales Tax

Sales tax is only charged to customers purchasing within the state of California. The sales tax rate is based on the city that the order is shipped to. Conley’s complies with California’s reduced Ag-Exempt current sales tax rate of 2.5%. To qualify for this sales tax rate, Conley’s will send a form to fill out (via email, fax or mail) that will need to be returned to us before the order is shipped. You may request this form via telephone or email.

Building Permits

All of Conley’s greenhouse buildings that have engineering certification (per the International Building Code – IBC) will require building permits from the city that you plan to build in. However, our non-code structures (entire Cold Frame Series and the Cable Frame Fixed Roof Structure) may also require permitting, based on factors such as the city you plan to build in and the total size of the greenhouse. Building permit information and requirements for both code and non-code structures can be found by contacting the building department in your city. Conley’s offers engineering prints for coded designs to purchase, in order to coordinate building permits prior to ordering your greenhouse structure. All permitting is at the responsibility of the customer. Although it’s not required to obtain permits prior to a greenhouse purchase, it is strongly recommended. Building projects can be subjected to a series of problems following the construction of a greenhouse that are without the proper building permits. These include but are not limited to: fines, restrictions, deconstruction, etc.
